PEARCE
You can read more about Pearce's history on our History page.
For the time frame, from when Cochise, Pearce, Courtland and Gleeson were booming in the early 1900s, Pearce is the most preserved of the four towns, with two of its buildings on the Registry of Historic Places.
Many of the original homes and businesses are still occupied today, mostly by local crafters who supply area residents and visitors alike with pottery, jams and jellies made of prickly pear fruit, and soaps and lotions made with goat's milk, amongst other items.
