OTHER ATTRACTIONS WITHIN 60 MILES OF PEARCE

Chiricahua Mountains, Coronado National Forest and other points of interest: The Chiricahua Mountains to the east of Pearce, the Dragoon Mountains to the west, and points beyond and in between offer many hiking, camping, picnic and day trip opportunities. Equestrian trails are available in Cochise Stronghold and there are corrals available at Rucker Canyon. Please check individual sites for camper trailer/RV length restrictions, and campground closures. Roads are a mix of paved and dirt, but all are passenger car friendly.

Other attractions can include pick-you-own fruits and vegetables at Apple Annie's (be sure to get some of their wonderful apple pies!), exploring the historic mining town of Bisbee, or reliving the shootout at the OK Corral in Tombstone.

Along the border is the town of Douglas, with the Border Air Museum, Gadsden Hotel (where Pancho Villa may have ridden his horse up and down the steps inside), and the beautiful and Historic Slaughter Ranch.

Don't forget our ghost towns of Cochise, Pearce, Courtland, and Gleeson! You can find more information about those on our Ghost Town Trail pages!
